Tecumseh Woman Accused Of Identity Theft

TECUMSEH – A Tecumseh woman is schedule for a March 20 arraignment on a charge of identity theft.

Malissa Brown, 30, is accused of opening a credit card account at Menard’s and charging $1,584 for a wood fence last September. She allegedly had the fence materials delivered to her Tecumseh residence.

An arrest affidavit says Brown opened the charge account using  the name of her ex-husband, as well as his date of birth and Social Security number.
