Traffic Picking Up At Nebraska City’s AppleJack Festival

NEBRASKA CITY – Nebraska City enjoyed mostly clear roadways Saturday morning, but crowds continue to pour in.

By 10:30 a.m., the third, overflow parking field was being opened at Kimmel Orchard. There was a line of cars coming off of Highway 75 toward Nebraska City, but there were spaces in the line of traffic  cars to turn onto Orchard Drive after brief waits.

Light rainfall at 11 a.m. helped reduce the dust on Goosehill Road. AccuWeather indicates mostly sunny skies from 1 to 4 p.m.

Parking near Central Avenue was becoming scarce at 11 a.m.
